1.0
Purpose
Jefferson
Lab has identified the following hazard issues relevant to current operations. This appendix has been developed to assist
individuals plan their work to comply with safety and health requirements
established within “DOE O
420.2C – Safety of Accelerator Facilities;” 10
CFR 851 Worker Safety and Health Program; ” Public
Law 91-596, Section 5 Duties Clause; 10CFR835
Occupational Radiation Protection; and “DOE
O 231.1A Environment, Safety and Health Reporting”.
2.0
Scope
This list identifies
current hazard issues; the appropriate Subject Matter
Expert (SME); documents used to communicate procedure(s) that comply with
applicable laws, regulations, DOE
Orders, Directives, Contract Clauses, and other references. Hazards, that are not listed and pose an
unmitigated Risk
Code of >2, are brought to the attention of the appropriate Division
Safety Officer and reviewed in accordance with ES&H Manual Chapter
2410 Appendix T2 Hazard Issues Update Procedure.
