Photon Illumination of GlueX Calorimeters and UPV

Dear Colleagues

Please see the attached note on photon illumination of UPV and the
gap between UPV and BCAL.   I understand this will be on the agenda
for the calorimeter meeting later this week.   The issue is one of
re-visiting the instrumentation of these regions and the relative
cost/benefit of doing so.

Please note that this note has some small corrections  to
what was sent out earlier today to a smaller audience.

Your comments, suggestions and criticisms are most welcome.
