sorry for not replying sooner.  Thanks for the drawings.  Is there a deadline to your questions?  We are currently swamped with work related to the calorimetry review, plus our university's support staff just got back from a one-month strike, so everything is still in disarray here.

could start with a tolerance of .010 inches for each dimension and

first, then layup scifi/lead, then machine the lead? Note there are 3 
different aluminum strong backs depending on position.
