Re: Saint-Gobain fiber samples (fwd)

Hi Elton:

I thought it was "yes Virginia, there's a...", never mind, I get the picture. Incidentally, I have had a good interaction and exchange of information with Mike Kusner on the BCF-20 spectra and other such issues and he replied immediately and he's very interested in receiving feedback from us on the spectral decomposition of their fibers and the attenuation length extraction as a function of lambda.

Cheers,

George

"Yes, Virginia - there is a Santa Claus" - or at least a "Saint
Gobain".

All the Saint-Gobain fiber samples arrived today. I will proceed to
ship out the Regina half
(10 of each type) by next week before the shutdown.

Ho, ho, ho...

All the best,

..............Carl
