Status Report on the Calorimeter Review Document

Dear Colleagues

Here is a status report on the Calorimeter Review document.
I will not be participating in today's conference call - I still have
a lot of work to do on the document.

Below is where you can find the 4 sections of the document.  We are
still in editing phase and I will hold off assembling the entire document
into one file for at least two days.  But that should not stop you from
looking at the individual sections which are close to final form and sending
me your comments.

Sending comments:
1.  Preferred way is to mark up the pdf in Acrobat and e-mail to me.
2.  You can also send your comments by e-mail - referencing the
pdf document - page number - paragraph number etc....
3.  You can physically mark up the printed pdf and send me relevant pages by
fax to 866-541-1263.   This is a service that allows me to fetch the fax
as a PDF - PLEASE NOTIFY ME BY E-MAIL if you send a fax so I will
know to fetch it.

I will be at the lab on Monday.

I.  Introduction:
GX_calorimetry.pdf
Status:  Update Jan 24 - but exactly the same as version date Jan 18
which was a minor upgrade of what was posted late Dec.  Elton, Zisis and
George have made comments that were incorporated.

II.  BCAL:
BC_calorimeter.pdf
Status:  Updated Jan 26 - Zisis and George and Elton have made comments
and these are incorporated.  Elton made a contribution on the dark rate in
SiPM and implications for energy threshold.  I WILL put this in the next
version.
Appendices:  These are in the above pdf but we will be adding an appendix
on SiPM that will include SiPM_Appendix.pdf and Carl's GlueX-doc-961
Zisis has sent me the source for  SiPM_Appendix.pdf

III.  FCAL:
FC_calorimeter.pdf
Status: Updated Jan 30 - Beni started this and I made some major additions.
Matt is now reviewing the sections on light guides

IV. Simulations:

Status: Updated Jan 29 - Matt already circulated this yesterday.
Matt has sent me the source for this section.
