question about scanning color photo transparencies

Hi All

Does anyone know if JLab has the facility to scan color photo
transparencies? I have five 8x10 color photo transparencies
(the kind people used to use before PowerPoint came along) of
the lead glass detector assembly that I would like to scan to
JPEG. My photo scanner at home, which obviously does reflective
scanning, also can scan positive or negative film - but only narrow
strips, not 8x10. The alternative is to make prints of these
transparencies and then scan - but scanning directly is
preferable. If anyone knows of such capability at JLab
please let me know. I will be bringing these with me when I
arrive later today.

I also sent an e-mail to Greg Adams - who does all the
photography

Thanks much
Alex
