scanning color transparencies - redux



Thanks to all who responded about getting 8 x 10 color transparencies
scanned to digital.  It turns out that this is not a trivial matter.
After visiting some of the higher end copying/scanner and photo
businesses I found out that it is a custom job and expensive.
Nothing like scanning a color print.

Greg was quick to recognize that this is a specialty job

I contacted the BNL photo folks  - who originally took the photos
for help.  Maybe they have prints archived.

The photos of interest show the mechanical features of the LGD
(a.k.a. FCAL)  used in BNL E852 at various stages of assembly.
