I plan on attending the cal meeting on the 24th and will invite Hai, Ben
and Ed.  I've copied them on this mail in case they are not on the halld
calorimetry mail group.

We have discussed the implementation of the timing algorithm at our
regular weekly trigger meeting, and look forward to Jake's presentation,
and other work on the algorithm to achieve the FCAL timing requirements.

I site below an interesting article on the method used for extracting
timing information with methods that are FPGA 'friendly'.  As you know
we have eight fadc at 4ns sampling piping into one FPGA so floating
point algorithms and math resource blocks in the FPGA may be a limit,
but a good challenge nonetheless.  For what it's worth click the link-->
