News on CDC: shielding

Hi All,
I did some tests concerning shielding several parts of the CDC:
- two end plenums
- straws
The results are on the usual place (CDC-wiki) but i can tell already that
shielding the upstream endplate has the biggest effect. Shielding the the
straws and/or the down stream end plenum in addition has no big effect.
I believe that when all these studies are finished a note will be written.
