Topic: Preparations for Workday on IT
Here is a short summary of the meeting Wed Aug 30:

- Dave suggested that vendors, especially of mass storage, be invited to
  the Work day. Ian volunteered to make some contacts.

- Chip reviewed the Particle Physics Data Grid
  Work partially funded through Next Generation Internet (NGI)
  Project can use interested groups for testbeds during the next year
  (e.g. FSU has volunteered to help).
