  thanks for summarizing this, it is what is in the HDFast Monte
Carlo, however it is also true that the HDFast Monte Carlo only
does Multiple Scattering, it doe not handle Hadronic interactions 
in the material.

  In my mind, the most disturbing material is the down-stream endplate
of the CDC, which is currently 1cm of Al. We are going to work very
hard to reduce this as much as possible, but it is going to be a 
problem no matter what we do.
