Updates from Paul:
- Visit to Los Alamos Dec 10 on track
- HCP sent off to Los Alamos to be signed
- Power supply purchase awaiting decision on last year capital expenses
- MOU with IUCF is being revised
- Ravi is updating magnet/detector geometries. Paul will contact Garry
Adams to get IDEAS files with Cerenkov design.

F1 TDC prototype

Fernando:
-good progress on schematic. Expect completion this week, so that it can
be handed over to Jeff. Current design is on the web, standard location
-Additional 6 chips are being connected to PLD, now that new BGA has been
selected
-Delivery of all parts has been checked and should not delay the board.
Jeff should be able to order parts next week.

Ed:
Two important test were required for the new BGA chip. One has been
completed, the other is almost finished.

1) Routing of signals away from chip. This was accomplished successfully
by hand using reasonable parameters and using 5 out of the available 6
layers on the board using 5 mil traces. Currently 80 pins are unused but
are routed to the back of the board for future use. Next will attempt the
routing using the autorouter. If it works great, if not the hand routing
scheme can be incorporated into the drawings. (Chip has 100,000 gates)

2)Building the part for the CAD program. This effort is 90% complete. It
was divided into 4 sections. Footprint is built, remaining is the merge of
these parts.
