Hi All,

	Here are some minutes I took at the JLab Weekly Hall-D meeting
yesterday.

(Elton will be out of town but he asked me to organize and hold the meeting anyway)

1. - IU meeting plans (very brief)
2. - FDC and OU post-doc update (very brief)
3. - Recent info on CD0, CD1, etc. timescales (very brief)
4. - Magnet update (brief)
5. - Installation/Integration - recent results
6. - Formation of software group, meeting plans, etc.
7. - Anything else?


1. Reviewed briefly. Sandy will not be able to go after all.

2. Simon starts July 1st. Nothing to report on FDC.

3. B. Mecking mentioned at Hall-B meeting that BTeV has a much
shorter schedule for going from CD0 to CD1 to ... This may
be good news for us. D.D. pointed out that BTeV is using internal
funding.

4. 
-Fair amount of soleonoid constructed. Working on instrumentation,
 wrapping.
-Tagger magnet: Work on optics for two magnet setup rather than
 single large magnet.
-TOSCA calculations have been done.
-The smaller magnets can be made by more vendors and would be much cheaper.
-Could save money on building, (cheaper crane, smaller access doors , etc..).
-Both magnets could possibly run off a single power supply.
-E.W. Why not 3 magnets?
-Spare coils?

5. 
-Rails coming from THK.
-Fiberglass vs.Carbon Fiber Cylinder.
-E.W. Integration needs to become a more important issue, perhaps
 starting with the upcoming collaboration meeting. 
-Ravi: 3 concepts were given to IUCF to support the CDCs
-Discussion of CDC coming out the back.

6. Software meetings. A regular software meeting will be held
Tuesdays at 10:00am (except this week when it will be held
today, Wednesday, at 3:00pm) in ARC 641.

E.W. should this meeting be related to one of the working groups
outlined in the management plan?

E.B. For the summer, this should be fairly informal.

7. Nothing.
