Subject: End of Month Power Outage

Hi,

   The following areas will lose power on Sept 29-30:

1.  CEBAF Center Wings A, B, and F.

2.  Experimental hall power supplies

3.  Test Lab

  The following may have to be shut down:

1.  EEL

  The following will not be affected:

1.  ARC

2.  VARC

3.  MCC

4.  Wing C - CEBAF Center

5.  Computer Center operation


  FM's announcement:

Outage:      40 MVA Power Outage for VEPCO Maintenance
Proposed By: Paul Powers
Start Time:  09/29/2007 05:00
End Time:    10/01/2007 07:00
Description: Power outage to the 40 MVA substation required by VEPCO to perform repairs and PM on their transformers.  During this time, power to the 40 MVA substation will be supplied from the Test Lab 7.5 MVA substation.  Functional groups have been notified of the limited power available and have made plans to deal with resulting shutdowns or reductions in operations.  This is a sitewide power reduction.  VARC & ARC are not affected.
