Hi Mark,

    Yes. They are kept in the repository with the release itself. You 
can see them via:

svn cat https://halldsvn.jlab.org/repos/tags/release-2009-02-24/RELEASE

It lists the versions of several software packages used to compile on 
Mac OS X 10.5.6, Fedora 8, and RHEL5. In this case, it is JANA 0.4.9 for 
all 3.
