more on TOF
Title: more on TOF
Dear Colleagues
Sergey Denisov and I would like to point to our published papers
listed at the bottom of this message.
Results, including the dependence of time resolution on scint.
thickness (more precisely on the number of photoelectrons:1/sqrt(N))
can be found in our papers. Lightpipes do not deteriorate time
resolution and can be useful if magntic shiedings are used. According
to our data the time resolution of about 60ps can be achieved with X,Y
hodoscope with 1 inch thick scintillators.
Also, results indicate that it is better to use ADC's instead
CFD's and to correct walk-effect offline. See our papers.
