Donuts
Hi All,
First of all I would like to rectify the statement we made that about the
donuts on the downstream end, they are made of Noryl not Delrin. Noryl is
a little easier to machine.
We could make the donuts shorter with +-1/3 maximum which means that you
basically end up with the V-groove for glue only. This *might* have
implications for alignment, eg. it's easier for the feedthru (which will
be shorter also) to make an angle with the donut. This investigation just
started so more will follow.
Cheers,
Yves
