Richard suggested a test in Connecticut at the machine of his university.
We could damage the crystals several time and cure than measure their
transparency. Richard I misplaced the mail you send me some time ago what
machine your university has.

I have also the following questions. how critical is the size of the
crystals, could we look in getting some radiation hard crystals from
Hermes just for the center of the fcal.

I think this is a problem we should address really soon.
