Calorimeter CDR - the home stretch

To my good friends

This is the home stretch.   Elke and I decided yesterday to the
five sections as individual files.   Each section will have its pages,
equations, tables and figures numbered as, for example,
page 3.1, Figure 3.1, etc....    I also will make a cover page for
each section - attached is the cover page for section 1.

Right now - only section 1 is final.  Later today and tomorrow I will
post final versions of the other sections.

The changes to section 1 include new figures for correlation plots
and a subsection on amplitude analysis.
