FYI - photodetector - APD used at KOPIO
A Shashlyk calorimeter built for KOPIO has a resolution of about
3.5%/sqrt(E) in an energy range of 50-1000 MeV. They use
a 16 mm diameter APD API 630-70-74-510 with an amplifier, at
room temperature.
