Hall D Electronics: I was talking to Fernando in the Hallway this morning and it seems that we are approaching a consensus in that, we can strip the outer jacket and shield over the last two meters where the cable enters the bore. This solution is not only fairly elegant, but allows me to proceed with the sample cable purchase without further delay. All in favor? Joe Beaufait
