Subject: a little musical fun

Curtis, George, Elton

I think I mentioned sometime ago that Don Freund, from the School of Music
at Indiana U, was planning to compose a piece inspired(?) by GlueX. He
told me yesterday that that premiere will take place on Feb 15 at the
Musical Arts Center -- the IU Wind Ensemble will be conducted by Ray Cramer.
Don's program notes for that premiere are attached. Don's bio is here:
http://info.music.indiana.edu/sb/page/normal/867.html.

The JLab public affairs office will work with the APS to connect this to their
World of Physics 2005 Celebration http://www.physics2005.org/

Cheers
Alex
