SCIENTIFIC PROJECT MANAGER Physics (PA11 )
Position#: 00030795

The Scientific Project Manager (SPM) coordinates all technical and
logistical aspects involved in designing, assembling and testing of
detector sub-systems used in particle/nuclear physics experiments and
coordinates their off-campus installation and integration within
detector facilities at U.S. or foreign accelerator centers. This work
involves on-campus supervision of students and technicians working on
the project and coordinating with scientists and other professionals
from collaborating universities and host laboratories.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in physics, engineering, or closely
related field and one to two years of research laboratory experience
required. Please include a cover letter and resume with your online

familiar with mechanical, electrical, electronic and software aspects of
the project and have the verbal and written communication skills needed
to interact with people possessing a wide spectrum of technical
knowledge and skills.
