Re: installation review

Folks,
I was thinking about a more simple presentation:
1. What the magnet is - the reviewers are potentially not familiar
2. the sequence of putting it in the hall and commissioning it
2.1 this includes manpower to accomplish the tasks
3. The the present status of the magnet.
4. The plans to get the magnet into shape so that we have confidence in it and it can be installed as above.

Dear all,

I have prepared a review www page for the installation review @ 18th of
february.

Please go to the section labled Pre Brief Material.

I have linked the drawings Tim or ? please have look I have always the
latest and best vertsion. I used for al lthe drawings despite the tagger
and beam line the ones from the CD3 drawing package.

I have started to link schedules, not all are there yet. Please give me
some feedback on what is the plan on the individual ones. and place the
latest versions in M:\halld\Individual-Schedules in the respective
directory so I can make pdf files out of them.

Do we have anythink  on the magnet we coudl give as prebrief material.

George's report to the Hall D meeting is at
http://www.jlab.org/~elke/SolenoidForceReview_20081203.ppt
Unfortunately, it is not an overview of the whole magnet. George could
suggest the most recent overview which is relatively up-to-date. I'm not
sure we should place something on the pre-brief that will raise more
questions than it answers.

Now Elton you had some ideas about infor on grounding and so on, which
document/talk did you have in mind.

I think we had in mind the information something like the presentation
that Fernando gave at the systems review:
http://www.jlab.org/Hall-D/reviews/System_Review_May08/Final_Talks/W7-HallD%20System%20&%20Infrastructure%20Review-1.ppt

For pre-brief material, one could use the GlueX-docs 1029 and
1035. See other links at
http://www.jlab.org/Hall-D/software/wiki/index.php/Electronics#Electronics_Subsystems

Cheers, Elton.

Anything else which is missing.

thanks elke
