Subversion Repository

Hi All,

The web interface for accessing our Subversion code repository is
now working. I generated a new svn repository from our CVS repository
yesterday and it is now available for testing again.

*NOTE: Code should still be checked into CVS for now until we officially
make the switch.*

In the meantime, I would encourage everyone to try out the svn
repository using the new web-based access scheme. The URL is:

https://halldsvn.jlab.org/repos

Here are some examples:

svn co https://halldsvn.jlab.org/repos/trunk/src

This will grab a copy of the "src" directory which contains all of our
reconstruction code as well as HDGeant, genr8 etc.

svn co https://halldsvn.jlab.org/repos/trunk/src/programs/Simulation/HDGeant

This will grab a copy of just HDGeant and will place it in a directory
called "HDGeant" in the current working directory.

svn ls https://halldsvn.jlab.org/repos/trunk

This will list the contents of the repository at the top-most level. To
see what is in the src directory, just add "src" to the path after "trunk".

If you run into any problems, let me know right away so we can smooth
them out pior to the official switch.

Regards,
-David
