Jlab via Yang (UGlasgow) offers to perform all tosca calculations whenever materials and volumes are specified. I personally understood it as a 'free service' which gives us - in return - the opportunity to study the design in detail. (ad 7,13) The tagger specs document contains all information (Yang's writeup should be distributed as well - answering questions on field calculations). (ad 8) I agree that the missing drawings concerning the vacuum box can lead to a wrong perception: shall we offer Yang's initial drawings as backup information? (ad 9) Structural FEA is to be performed where "strong forces" are acting (during operation). The main components, magnets and vacuum box, are mentioned, however it should also be ensured that the support stands are strong enough to hold the magnets.
