Hi Elke,

Here is a suggested response to 4)

The current plan is to rely on a full TOSCA calculation of the magnetic
field which is checked against Hall probe measurements which continuously
monitor the absolute field at selected locations inside the magnet
throughout the experiment. The estimated accuracy of this procedure is
10^-3, which we believe is adequate to support our design goals. However,
detailed studies of the effect of the magnetic field intensity and
gradients on chamber calibration and event reconstruction are under way.
If we find that increased accuracy, plans can be added to map the field.
