HI Elke,

One note on the rates which we should add, is that the 600 KHz in the FDC
downstream chambers corresponds to 0.6 deg (this assumes the same dead
region all through the drift chambers. The rate for 1 degree openning is
closer to 150 KHz maximum or a 5% aperture.

This might be a number whis is useful to quote in answering the first
question.
