Re: Ring size meeting

Dear Dan,

I have a small question to this point. After our discussion today I have
learned a bit more on the issue and actually would like to understand why
we would like to go back to 1200.

It seems like Roger and Kim have designed to 1178 mm, Chuck and Tim have
this number in their 3d model. So what is the reason to go back to
1200mm. It seems we don't need the extra space for the design of the
electronic boards as things fit on the one with 1178 mm.

Actually one disadvantage is we add 22mm more material which seems not to
be needed. But I'm sure my arguments are to simple.

cheers elke
