Next FDC group meeting





Folks,

Our next FDC group meeting is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at
1:30 p.m..  The planned agenda is below.  Please bring pictures/details
for the items that you are responsible for.

Jan. 31, 2008

1. Composite wire frame status.
2. Wire winding contract status and timeline.
3. Composite cathode prototype construction update.
4. Gas volume definition and new gas windows -- update of design.
    - impedance calculations and definitions of holes in cathodes,
      foam, and ground planes.
    - gas ports.
5. Cooling system update and block diagram.
6. STB/HVTB design update.
    - procurement plans and number of sets to order.
7. Plans for cathode flatness measurements.
    - acceptable measurement schemes and tolerances.
8. +/-75 deg. cathode mounting update
    - plans for installation into small-scale prototype.
9. Cathode daughter board update.
    - final design status.
10. FDC cable routing update.
    - plans for insertion from upstream end.
    - space requirements outside of CDC.
    - plans to be able to pull FDC out downstream for servicing/siting.
11. Mini-review update.
12. Full-scale prototype procurement plans.
    - available money in R&D budget.
    - list of items needed (with costs) for detector.
    - review of frame/spacer mass-production time lines.
13. Design of LV/HV systems for FDC.
14. Next joint FDC/CDC meeting and agenda.

If anyone from the outside would like to participate let me know
beforehand so that we can set up the conference call.
