Hi All,
here some additional information for tomorrows meeting.

1) in the NIM article A303 (1991) 277-284 the straws for E735 at Fermilab
    the following straws were manufactured by Stone Industrial Division, 
College Park 20704, MD, USA
    75 micro meter mylar
    75 micro meter paper
    18 micro meter aluminum

2) attached is a rough outline of how one could avoid the cable 
connection between the crimp pins
    and the plug for the HV boards. The idea is based on using several 
PCB  boards that fit over
    crimp pins supported by small pillars. The connection between the 
crimp pin the the traces in
    the board would be done using conducting rubber. Pins sticking out 
of the PCB board would
    provide the interface to the connector the plugs in through the hole 
in the plastic sealing plate.
    Fernando is testing the feasibility  of the PCB for  laying traces 
and pins for the connection in
    terms of the space available.
